1M+ Test Taken
Hi Nidhish,If you want to become a corporate lawyer or an interpreter then opting for humanities will be a right choice for you. These are occupations that are best suited for Humanities student.
You should never choose on the basis of the career that you want to pursue instead it should be the other way round- Choose a stream first and subsequently a career. You can also take the Stream Suggestor that CareerGuide.com offers for 10th studying students that will help you know the best suited stream for you according to your aptitude and interest.Best Wishes
Dear Aspirant,
Corporate Law and Interpreter are very different career streams. Both cannot be combined nor can be done separately.
If you have interest in Legal Studies, then an LLB from a recognised University and college is highly recommended. Further an LLM is also good.
For Interpreter, you will have to master more than one language and you may get jobs as interpreter or translator.
To be best sure of what suits you for your career, I would suggest you to undergo a Online Psychometric Test from CareerGuide which will help you understand yourself in respect of your strengths, weaknesses, emotional quotient, etc. and will exactly tell you which stream is good for you.
Best wishes,
Dr. Anand Wadadekar
Hello Asif,
Welcome to career guide.comThanks for visiting us and writing us your career query.
Deciding which career to go for after 10th is a tough task.Students find it very much difficult which career to select as their is wide range of career options available for the students. Due to the parents and peer pressure or due to the market trends many a times students select a career which is not of their interest.
Before selecting a career after 10th a students and parents must take a psychometric career assessment. This assessment assess the students ability, personality trait, strengths and weaknesses and where students area of interest lies. With the assessment reports student and parents must select a career. In your case to i would sugggest you t to go for the careerguide.com's career assessment which will give a clear picture which career to select.
Both the career options are completely different. If you wish to become a Corporate Lawyer you can go for the 5 years law course after 12th from any stream courses like BBA+LLB,B.com + LLB etc.
AFter completing your law degree you can start practising as a corporate lawyer in the corporate companies while if you wish you can also go for the higher studies i,e Masters LLM.while if you wish to make a career as an interpreter you need to go with BA course and can select a language which you wish to study and than you can become an interpreter or translator.
See where your interest lies and select the option according to it.Both the options are completely different from each other in no way they have any kind of relation with each other. Both the career options have a wide scope for career.I hope you find this information relevant to your career query.
Feel free to get in touch again.
Wish you Good Luck
Thank You
