1M+ Test Taken
Dear Aspirant,
Nice to know that you would like to be on your own and be an entrepreneur.
However before becoming an entrepreneur, I would suggest you to first take a taste of the practical world by working for few years in the industry of your choice.
Getting a good bachelors and masters degree is very essential and I would suggest you to go for a general graduation degree like BCom or BBA or BBM. You may choose BBM or BBA if you are highly interested in your own business.
Getting the domain knowledge along with soft skills is very important to have a sustainable business and to be a good business person.
I would not recommend you Bachelors in Entrepreneurship, since it does not enable in getting jobs.
I would suggest you to undergo an Ideal Career Test which is an online psychometric test from CareerGuide.com which will help you understand yourself in respect of your strengths, weaknesses, emotional quotient, etc. and will exactly tell you which career is ideal for you.You can then call counsellors to discuss.
You can then transform your industry experience into entrepreneurship.
Best wishes!
JOBS AVAILABLE FOR STARTING YOUR OWN BUSINESS !
Statement is contradicting itself.
Such courses are good only for individuals who are going to get into their family business or start their business.
Hi Saransh,
Firstly, be sure what you wish to do.
Whether you wish to be an entrepreneur or wish to take up a job.
Though both are possible, but you need to be sure what is your end result.
As far as i see, you have just completed your 12th.Which means work exposure is nearly zero. Though i do not deny that, entrepreneur skills require qualification or work exposure, but this was the scenario few decades ago. These days to be an entrepreneur, one needs the basic qualification and experience that will help you sustain in the market.
Also experience, will help you decide which business would you like to start up with, and which group of citizens would you like to cater to.Most important is Knowledge. You need knowledge about the service that you wish to provide, that will be possible either through work experience or qualification or both.
Thus, according to me, if you have a Family business, then a Bachelors degree in Entrepreneurship is fine.Or else pursue a job oriented Graduation and masters the skill, by then pursuing an MBA in Entrepreneurial management.
Hope this answers your query.
Wish you good luck............
