You have written two different interest and that too they both cannot be compared.
Unless and until you do a P.Hd in Psychology, you would earn a doctorate degree but still it cannot be compared to a Scientist.
And just because you are weak in Physics you would not opt to become a Scientist?
A scientist is someone, who does research with hardwork and sincerity and most important persistency. And you at the beginning only are giving up, how would you become a scientist.
I would suggest, put in all efforts required, if Scientist is what you wish to become in the future.
If not, then you could opt for Psychology, but please note there is a lot of difference between the two fields, just like the sky and earth.
Just because you find Physics tough is not enough reason to give up being a scientist. There are a lot of coaching available like classes, as well as help online. The question here is are you ready for such hardship? Or you wish to have an easy way out?
Please note as a scientist, your main role is research, meaning an indepth study. If you give up in the middle of a project, you would loose the opportunity. Thus you would have to analyse yourself and only then decide.
Thus think twice before you make a choice.
Both the fields have a lot of scope. One into Research and other into mental well being.
