1M+ Test Taken
Dear, Welcome to CareerGuide.com I am very happy to guide you through the labyrinth of career paths. Here I hope you are mentioning the Common Proficiency test which on passing opens door towards a career in Chartered Accounting field. This test is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Of course, the CA field is a lucrative one and quite challenging.CPT is not that tough for a student with commerce and accountancy background. You can certainly appear in the exams with the 3 months crash course you took. But for the time being don't over react. If you have accountancy background, you should pass. Even if you do not, you will have an experience in taking the exam. I mean it. Success comes to people who try and try again.
Regarding your aptitude and attitudes, you can take any psychometric tests which assess those from the site itself. You need to know them before jumping into any career decisions. I shall help you in choosing the right career path. Hope this answers your query in details. Happy to help again.Dr. K V Anand

Dear Aspirant,
Thanks for approaching us at CareerGuide.com.
No need to lose heart.
You can directly take admission to the IPCC course post completion of your graduation. CPT is based on the 12th level of commerce subjects.
Best wishes,

Hi There,
I wish you had mentioned your qualification. But since you have written CPT, which is the entry level tests for admission to the CA course, I assume you might be in the 11th or 12th.
Since CPT is the first level, you have nothing much to loose, even if you do not clear the exam.
My advise here would be to first attempt the course, then based on the results, you would know, which area you need to focus on and then opt for a crash course.
Generally a student with good knowledge of Math, and a little logic is able to clear the CPT tests.
Ideally check the website for the previous papers. It will give you an idea about your need for preparation.www.icai.org
Hope this answers your query.
Wish you good luck.....
