The Banking Sectors work is not restricted to providing customers a Bank Account Facility it has gone beyond like providing more services to the clients.
There have been a great career opportunities in both the Private as well as Public Banking Sector.
The person who aspires to make a career in the Banking Sector especially in the Public Banking Sector they need to go through the exam. There are two types of Exams are conducted in the Government Banking Sector i.e Bank Clerk and Bank PO.
Bank PO is higher designation offered in the Government Banking Sector. Bank PO exam is conducted for the students who are Graduates.
There are two types of Bank PO exam conducted.
The Candidates who aspires to make a career in SBI bank they need to give an SBI PO exam.; whereas the candidate who wish to make a career as PO in any of the Government Banks they need to give an IBPS Bank PO exam. IBPS BANK PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the remaining 21 Government Banks in the Country.
So in order to make a career in the SBI Bank as PO officer you the score of SBI PO exam will be considered and not of the IBPS PO exam. You need to have the SBI PO score to make a career in the SBI. SBI PO exam and IBPS exam are quite different from each other, so candidate needs to give the exam differently depending in which bank they wish to make there career.
