Just a BA degree would not be much beneficial. As you would get junior level or entry level positions only.
Pursue a masters degree and you would have ample opportunities in the industry. Any private or public or government related organizations would grab you as an economist.
As an economist, you could work as a financial advisor, statistician, business developer, financial head, investment banker etc.
Incase if you are interested then Civil service especially IAS is another option open for an Economics graduate.
Opportunities are many. Depends where and in which field are you looking out for an opportunity.
