The person who aspires to make a career in the Banking Sector especially in the Public Banking Sector they need to go through the exam. There are two types of Exams are conducted in the Government Banking Sector i.e Bank Clerk and Bank PO.
The Banking sector needs a skilled and tech savvy Human Resource because of the immense use of Technology in the Banking System.
The Candidates who aspires to make a career in SBI bank they need to give an SBI PO exam.; whereas the candidate who wish to make a career as PO in any of the Government Banks they need to give an IBPS Bank PO exam. IBPS BANK PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the remaining 21 Government Banks in the Country
The exams are conducted by the SBI for SBI PO in 3 levels -
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
3. Group Discussion and Interview.
There is Negative Marking System at the Prelim and Main Exam which is 1/4 for every wrong attempt.
The exams conducted by the IBPS for IBPS Bank PO are conducted in the following pattern-
1. Common Written Test (CWE)
2. Interview
There is a Negative Marking system of 1/4 for every wrong attempt in CWE exams.
