Good question. But I wish to know why are you restricting yourself to just Graduation? Though a specialization such as economics is a stand by itself at the Graduate level, but preferably pursuing a masters degree would be beneficial.
But as an Economics Graduate you can find jobs both in public and private sectors. You can find opportunity with financial sectors, banks, educational institutes, research centres, stock markets, insurance sector etc.
As an Economists, one is well versed with financial concepts because of good knowledge related to Mathematics. Thus your job role involves working as a financial adviser, financial analyst, banker, business analyst, economist etc.
But please note, as a Graduate you would be given the basic job like studying the files and giving your suggestions in writing, which will then be anlaysed by your senior. To work as a senior level advisor, best would be to pursue a masters degree in economics.
After a BA in Economics, in terms of further studies you could think of the following options:
You could also think of becoming a teacher. For that, you would have to appear for NET / SET exam. For teaching at college, apart from NET / SET, you would need a masters degree.
