Hi There,
Very interesting question.
But I would like to tell you, that when a particular position or role has nothing new to offer, saturation steps in.
Coming to your question.
Marketing are the people who are the face of a product to the masses.Whether it is word of mouth or face to face with customers or over mobiles or via the virtual medium.A customer needs to be educated about a product.
If all candidates passing from a B-School brings about only theoretical knowledge and is not ready to fight the battle right from the scratch Yes, there would be a saturation. You will not find jobs.
Please note, you have written Manager, but as a fresher, just after an MBA, may be till 2 years, you would be enrolled as a Trainer followed by an executive position. To achieve the managerial position, knowing the basics is utterly important.
Also please note that, to market a product you need to know its basic, right from raw products to the final products, its content and packaging etc.
So in-case if you happen to change your domain, or industry, you begin from the scratch level again. Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...........
In order to post replies to the question: "Shall we see saturation of jobs of Marketing Managers in the next few years?"
