Hello Tanvi
A student is recommended to write a career test when he has dilemma about the career to be chosen from multiple options available in front of him. If you are very sure about your interests and inclination about any particular field, you can simply opt for it. Choosing a career is a big and important decision. If you feel you need some guidance for it, go for a career test.
There are offline career tests i.e. tests conducted by local institute and online career tests. The benefit of online career test is the accuracy in assessment of the test and instant report. One can take it after tenth standard while choosing a stream. If you have already selected the stream then take it in twelfth standard.
