The Tourism Industry offers you job opportunities in both the Sectors-Publicand Private Sectors.
Public Sector job lies with the directorates offices of state and centraltourism industry and they can work as officers,information assistantsetc.
Private Sector- There is a wide range of Job opportunities like can workin Hotels,Travel agencies,Airlines,Tour Operators,transport and Cargo companiesetc.
One must have some of the skills apart from respective education to be a successful in this industry.One must have a charming personality with skills like good communication skills,must be outgoing and friendly in nature.Must possess good communication skills,ability to handle people with full hospitality,good presentation skills,verbal fluency,up to date knowledge about the facilities and must have aptitude to learn many languages. There are courses in Tourism right after the graduation degree.So there are course with MBA in Travel and Tourism Management. The duration of the MBA in Travel and Tourism Course is normally of 2 years.While there are some diploma courses in Travel and Tourism which is of 1 year. So in your case as you have said you have completed your Graduation in Travel and Tourism thats a good thing that you have the knowledge of this industry and you have not mentioned what has been your specialization of MBA;so you can start working with various tourism companies and after gaining handful experience you can start your own tour company too. You can go for diploma course if you didn't had Tourism as your specialisation in MBA.
