Hi Friend

Honestly speaking there are no options for a Corporate Lawyer as far as the career is concerned, but there are many things you can do different being a Corporate Lawyer only. So please erase this thing from your mind that there are any options as a career after becoming a corporate lawyer.

what I am trying to tell you here is that being a Corporate Lawyer only you can do many things differently then why to change your career entirely??? Try to do something new in your existing career only which is different from your day to day routine in your field. If you do so you will find that career option is not at all required while you can do many things differently and with different ideas in your existing/current field only.

First of all A basic job of a Layer is to present before the court and attend the case trials for hearing and judgments. This things are not being done by Corporate Lawyers most of the time due to the kind of work they are occupied with or dedicated to. The main duty of a Corporate Lawyer is to see the Government Laws are being followed or complied by the corporation or not? And this can be done easily seating in an office.

If you really want to do something new in your current field then start practicing individually and try to attend courts trial judgments days s many as possible to learn something different. Try to build up your own clientele so that you can start your own practice rather than doing work for others.

Why I am saying is this because once you become an Advocate and you have an LLB degree, a specific tag is tagged with your identity and that is, Advocate/Lawyer and all...so if you try to change your career, in which field you will go and use your legal knowledge which you studied while in LLB...and in this case no other field will accept you because you do not have specific experience or the knowledge of the filed in which you have applied or there is a vacancy.

so according to me the best way to go ahead with your career is to stick to where you are today and try doing things differently in your existing environment rather than looking for some other options.

Best luck,
Ravi
