After completing the education degree or master’s degree students they look out for the jobs in their respective fields.  Students usually look for the jobs in the private sector.  Whereas there are few of the students who look for the jobs into the government sector because they aspire to make a career in the public sector.  Students have a choice to make a career either in the private or the public sector as per their choice.  As you want to know the career options available for an Architect in the government sector.  A student of Architect can work with the public works department i.e. PWD or with the town planning department also.  Whereas they also have an option to make a career in the various field in the government sector like by qualifying the UPSC or State Government exam you can join the government sector.  Whereas you can also apply for the Banking Sector if you have an interest to make a career in the interest in the Banking field.  You can also go in the defense sector b y qualifying the CDSE exams.  Any graduate student is eligible for most of the government exams and hence you also get eligible for most of the government exams if you have completed your Architecture degree.  If you feel to start your own Architecture consultancy of the real estate companies or with the builders.
