Dear Aspirant,
IT Engineer? So you will have to select Science stream after 10th.
After 12th Science, you can then shift into engineering based on your 12th PCM marks and JEE Examination to the following engineering courses:
Best wishes
Do you mean I have to select Physics,Chemistry and Maths
Yes for becoming an Engineer PCM is compulsory group.
Thankyou sir
Hi Rohit,
Just to add to what the counselor Annadjee has mentioned,
You can also pursue a Diploma program after 10th.
It would be a 3 years course, whereby after the Diploma, you have a chance for a Lateral entry into BE / B.Tech 2 years course. Here you do not have to then appear for the engineering entrance exams.
Since you have mentioned Engineering, these are the only way.
But please note that these days even courses like BCA or a B.Sc IT is considered equivalent to an engineering degree.
Anyways choice is yours.
Wish you good luck...........
I should prefer B
Firstly you should know the difference between both.
B.Tech is more a technical course, whereby you would be exposed to the functioning of hardware and into creating systems and modifying hardwares.
BCA is a combination of both hardware and software course. More related to software development and application.
Now it would be your choice whether you wish to be a hardcore techie or into software and its application.
Though mind you, both are doing extremely good in the market.
Which cource among these is more easy ?
This is a really tough one.
Since both the courses are very much in demand and both are stressing on the computer world, its difficult to say which is the tougher one.
Please note that, since BCA is open to any student, with Math as a subject, you will face competition from students with varied background.
At the same time, since BCA is related to softwares and its application, please note that it is a volatile field, which keeps changing every few years.
So an up gradation is required all the time. At the same time, you need to back this course with few certifications like web designing or graphic, so that you are can be multitasking too.
As far as engineering is concerned, you would have to deal with entrance exam competition and then 4 years of hardwork. Also you cannot afford to fail in any year, because then it will affect your campus placement directly. And since you would be an engineer, you are directly into the process of researching and bringing about a product in the market, but definitely you need to think out of the box.
So both the fields are equally tough.
You make a choice.
Wish you good luck............
