The main nature of jobs (work profile) of a manufacturing assistant are:
1. Observe the flow of materials and listen the music of machines for any malfunctions such as jamming and spilling, and notify the supervisors if the corrective methods fails.
2. Fill or remove products from trays, carts, hoppers or equipments, using scoop, spoon or by hands.
3. Set temperatures and time controls for the machines, commonly used in laboratories and industries
4. Observe feel, taste or otherwise examine products during and after the completion of the process.
5. Observe temperature, pressure, humidity, pH of the instruments regularly to keep the things under control.
6. Read the instructional manual of instruments to carry out the process of product formation at right temperature and time.
7. Open instruments such as valves, gates or chutes, or install some parts in instruments for proper functioning.
8. Signal the coworkers in order to synchronize the flow of materials.
9. Assist the manufacturing engineers to carry out the routine processes of manufacturing.
10. Ensure the implementation of injury prevention efforts.
11. Main appropriate files for manufacturing processes.
12. Coordinate with quality control and quality control personnel for smooth process of manufacturing.
13. Acts as back up for manufacturing manager.
14. Comply with safety and Good Manufacturing process (GMP) regulations
15. Clean the instruments with steam, hot water and other biocide chemicals.
16. Test products for moisture, taste and aroma before marketing the products.
17. Direct the activities of the packaging department.
18. Track productivity of all bonus and manufacturing lines in the plant.
Besides these the other duties could be assigned by superiors from time to time.
