Please note, CBSE is a more practical oriented course. They stress more on the concepts and test the students on the concept using worksheets, tests, experiments and other learning methodology.
At the sametime, CBSE focuses mainly on Science and Math subjects. Since CBSE is responsible for the Medical and Engineering entrance exams, they very well understand the value of the subjects and focuses on them a lot. Not that they ignore the language subjects.
They have well trained faculty members and stress mainly on speaking English language only during school hours. The teachers and students maintain quite a friendly approach. All their doubts are cleared in the school and hence no need for tuition's. Students are also not loaded with homework. Rather worksheets are completed in school itself.
Students are encouraged in various extra curricular activities like Spelling bee, little science masters etc. Students are forced to join the NCC as a cadet as a means of practising good health.
At the sametime, CBSE, schools are widely found in all cities and countries. So admission is possible all over.
Comparing these points with the State board. Though state board has improved a lot like making their students appear for various competitive exams, but still their training is not upto the mark. At the sametime, students are burdened with homework and there tuitions steps in.
