Choosing a stream is essential as your career totally depends on the stream you choose.

Mostly students make a choice based on:

• Percentage
• Parent's choice
• Friends choice

This is not the way to chose as someones choice may not be the right choice for you.

Best would be to choose based on your likes and or interests.

Here I would suggests a Self Introspection as to what are your strengths, your area of interests and where would you like to work in the future. Though you could take help from Parents, but better would be to do this evaluation yourself only.

Rather I would recommend, an Aptitude test, whereby you would know your potentials and hence make a confirmed choice.
