Hi There,
Since you have not mentioned what you are currently pursuing, it would be very difficult to guide you towards choosing a career.
The only advise I can give here is that these days everything is become fast paced and human dependency on easy means of travelling has increased. Every second day people wish to buy a car and due to the competition in the society in terms of status, a lot of showbiz goes on. Thus Automobiles are in a demand keeping in mind the current trends.
To pursue Automobile engineering, you can after 10th pursue a Diploma program which is a 3 years course. After completing Diploma, you can seek direct entry into the 2nd year B.E / B.Tech degree courses in Automobiles.
Or else, after 12th, appear for various All India and state level entrance examination to seek a 4 years degree course in Automobile engineering.
But here I would advise you as a Career Counselor, that since you are not very sure whether Automobiles is your field, appear for an Psychometric Career Assessment tests that will give you an insight into your potentials and that will help you make a confirmed choice.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck..............
Dear Aspirant,
I agree with Ms. Meghna.
It would be good if you let us know your current education level.
Auto mobile field is definitely a good field and has good scope in terms of career and salary. an Engineering degree would be best recommended for this from a recognised University. Please do not do distance learning.
It is always recommended that you first assess yourself in terms of your strengths, aptitude, passion, likings, emotional strength to choose a career. You can appear for Ideal Career Test available on CareerGuide.com for this.
Best wishes
If you are very much interested to get into automobile field, passionate about your work then you can go head. There is nothing like ideal career. Its individual efforts that brings success in career.
Your question is incomplete therefore it is difficult to provide detailed answer. If possible, elaborate your question please.
I would recommend you to take up Engineering Branch Selector from www.careerguide.com. It will help you choose the most suitable engineering branch.
Best Wishes,Apurva Kumar Pandya, PhD
