One has to clear the exam conducted by UPSC for various academies of Indian Army to become an officer. If selected, s/he gets to appear in SSB Interview. NCC 'C' certificate holders are also called for SSB directly.

Study further doing diploma or degree or pick up a job! But most importantly join a course which may get you good communication skills.

One can become NCO, JCO and Commissioned Officer. For this keep an eye on the adv by Army from time to time specifying the precise requirements and process for selection.  PK Singh

Dear Deb, you should pick up a stream with subjects in which you are most comfortable and join in for graduation from a college or university. Because the min qualification is graduation. Meanwhile start reading newspapers, competitive exam oriented magazines and year books etc. to sharpen your GK. Pick up NCERT books of class 9th to 12th of almost all the streams to brush your academics/gen studies. Have two subjects prepared thoroughly for you as choice subjects in optional category. And keep seeking guidance in between as you have a long way to go. Best wishes. Pramod
