If you are interested to go for research in pharmaceutical field, you have to pursue bachelors and masters in Pharmacy or related fields like Chemistry and to join for PhD in reputed institutes in India like Jamia hamdard, Lovely Professional University, DY Patil university etc. You can do research on pharmacy related field while pursuing PhD. You can continue your research and can be a scientist in Pharmacy field by joining in pharmaceutical companies or government institutes after your PhD.

Hello Shring,   That is like a choice between fields that have a little similiarity between them. The similiarity is basically Research. They are all mostly research oriented jobs. Though there are office related jobs too.   But if I have to consider future study options especially if I wish to deviate, then I would prefer Food technology.
