That is like a choice between fields that have a little similiarity between them. The similiarity is basically Research. They are all mostly research oriented jobs. Though there are office related jobs too.
But if I have to consider future study options especially if I wish to deviate, then I would prefer Food technology. Food technology is a field whereby you would learn the art of preservation, packaging, nutrition content, marketing etc of the food product. In masters you could choose to pursue either a M.Sc in food technology whereby you specialise in one area or you could opt for courses like Packaging, Nutrition and dietetics, MBA in Logistics and food chain, MBA in Retail management, Marketing management etc.
Options as such are many in this field, hence i would prefer Food technology as such.
Whereas in fields like Agriculture, you could specialise in related fields like organic farming, ofcourse logistics is another area you could specialise in. But please note this is an on field job too. You would have to go to remote places to get your samples and after experimenting, implementing those changes you would have to travel again.
In terms of horticulture, which is mainly into flowering and hibernation and seeds growing, you can move ahead and start your own boutique and gardening.
Choice is yours.
