Hi Rituraj.. You can do any course in graduation for qualifying UPSC. Because,the eligibility for UPSC is to be a graduate. Still BA courses will give you more exposure for UPSC test. Please be particular on which UPSC exam you are aiming for. Your institute of under graduation is also giving much exposure for your ambition. So you can opt the institutes like Delhi University, Ashoka university, Lovely Professional university, Shiv Nadar university etc are giving proper education with curricular and non-curricular programs.

Hi Sherry.. The best option for graduation for a person preparing for civil service is BA course. You can go for any arts course like Political Science/Sociology/ Economics/ History etc. You can also take it as your optional subject while appearing for Civil service. Still, BA with political science as main subject will give you more advantage in your Civil service preparation. Some of the best options for this course are Delhi university, Hyderabad university, Lovely Professional University, Ashoka university etc. You can get scholarships also from institutions like lpu.
