But my question is what do you mean by a Small company. And why not a big or an MNC company.
Since Statistics incolces a lot of data matching and avalysis, mainly related to financial and budgeting and senses.
A small company may not be very conducive.

Hi ronit,The college selections depends on the course you are interested in. ISI offers two bachelors courses B.statistics and B.maths. Where IIT's are the best choice to opt for Btech courses. Would suggest you to decide the courses of your interest and choose college according to that. All the best

Hi Indian statistical institute offers B.stat and B.maths{Hons} at bachelors level. The total duration of the B. Stat.(Hons.) and B.Maths {hons} programme is three years (six semesters). B.Stat. is offered at kolkata and B.maths is offered at bangalore center. An admission test is conducted for enrollment to above courses during MAY every year . Statistics is a challenging field and practically there are very few good statisticians available in the industry. An MSc with Statistics from a good University / College is the most sought qualification by the industry and very good salary packages are given to employable statisticians.
Statistician jobs can be found through job portals and job consultants. Generally I have never seen Statisticians hunting for jobs too much since once they upload or give their resumes to sources, they get jobs almost very soon.
