If you are seriously interested in a course, your preparations in terms of knowing the date and time to apply to preparing for entrance exams is a must.

Secondly have you got your aptitude tests don. If not get it done, it will help you to know your strengths and then based on your potentials you could choose a career.

Also the field of Fashion technology involves a lot of creative acts and designing. You need to be innovative at the same time unique or different.
This involves a lot of visual appreciation and creating an idea first in your mind before putting it on paper.
The entrance tests will also check your creative and visualization skills.
like eg: they may ask you to decorate a bride in least given material, but you need to be different and quick and at the same time exceptional.

Such tests rather mock tests are available online. So get yourself well prepared, instead of waiting for a year.

During the waiting interval, if you are keen in making a career in fashion deigning, get well equipped with certifications like animations, web designing and graphics. Since now a days handmade creations are outdated mostly we use technology, so you would have to learn the basic of computers and their languages.
Also these courses are a certificate courses which involves just few hours of your time, it would be good if you get yourself enrolled in a degree course and at the same time prepare for NIFT exams.
