I cannot disagree to the fact that some fields are purely male oriented while some are female oriented. But that does not mean the other counterpart cannot enter the field.
Though agreed that nursing is a female oriented job, but no where is it mentioned that males cannot be caring? Rather male patients are more comfortable with a male nurse only and similiarly a female nurse may not be comfortable with male patients especially when it comes to sponging them. Hence males are needed too.
But you need to be confident even if you are a single male nurse amongst female nurses. Not only staff but patients too
If yes, then you could opt for this profession.
