Hello Tanvi,

The full form of B. Tech is Bachelors of Technology, you become an engineer after doing B.Tech.  You should remember some other things that are compulsory to become an engineer. You should have passed your 12h with Physics, Chemistry and Math’s as your subjects. Students who do not have one of these subjects are not eligible for the same. Keep in mind that you will also have to score above 50% marks in your 12th so that you become eligible for the engineering entrance. You should also fulfill the minimum and the maximum age requirements i.e. 18 and 23 respectively.

Hence, you can’t opt for B.Tech if you are not a science student. Being a science student is compulsory for doing a B.Tech.

You can do BCA (Bachelors of Computer Application) and after that MCA (Master of Computer Application) which I also somewhat related to a job of a software engineer, but for that also you should have passed your 12th with maths as one of your subjects. I wish you a bright future..

Dear Aspirant,

Your question is really surprising. Any Engineering requires PCM in 12th Science stream.

No other stream is allowed to take Engineering.

I think you should gather more basic information.

Best wishes
