Hi Renu,

Yes you can change your school and your board after your 10th standard. You cannot change it after your 9th standard as the school authorities do not take admission in 10th standard. But if you are willing to change your school or board after your 10th i.e. in your 11th class you can easily do so.

You will have to give your board exam to do the same. As board exams have become optional i.e. it depends on the student if he wants to give the exam or not. But it is compulsory to give your board exam to change your school or board.

Whichever school or board you choose to go in remember that the teachers of the school are very important. The better the faculty the better the school is.

The school that one is changing should be the one that you can adjust in easily. With changing school one will have to adapt to the new environment that sometimes might be difficult for the person. It can lead to a lot of emotional disturbances also, making it difficult for the student to concentrate on his or her studies.

Dear Aspirant,

I would suggest not to resort to these options. What is the reason you are thinking for this?

You cannot change school for 10th std, schools generally do not give admission except other exceptional cases. Are you an exceptional case?

Changing Boards do not guarantee more marks or simple exams.

Best wishes
