For getting into government jobs, based on your graduation marks, you will need to appear for government vacancies through State Selection Commission, which is a competitive exam.
For junior level positions, you may directly apply when there is an advertisement from the concerned department or government company about requirements.

Government Sector has been the promising sector since very long as it is one of the secured career option. While in the recent years there has been a lot of career opportunities in the various departments of the Government where Youths are required with efficient qualifications,skills and technology know how.
Considering your Educational qualification you are eligible to appear for the Government Exams viz. UPSC exams which are conducted for the designations like IPS,IFS,IRS etc. While you can also give the exams of the State Government Departments; you can also appear for the Staff Selection Commission exams; RRB exams.
Other exams of ONGC,SAIL,BSNL,MTNL etc can also be given.While you can also go for IBPS- Bank PO exam.
You can also appear for the exams of Air Force and Navy through CDSE exams.
You have a wide range of career options available for you in the government sector.
In order to apply for these examinations you need to visit the respective departments websites and should always read the Newspapers like Employment News. And according to fill up the forms.
But before that i would suggest you to decide which exam you wish to give and focus on that exam. Solve Previous exam papers. Do proper studies especially perfect all your basics. Work on Time Management.Have a proper schedule of the studies. While improve your General Knowledge by reading newspapers and other books available in market.
Majority Government exams eligibility criteria is to be Graduate from any stream.
