@anandwadadekar can you please answer this question
Hello Ashish,
Firstly congrats on your score. As far as the difference between a B.Tech IT and B.Tech Computer Science is concerned. Please note that both the jobs are computer related with subtle differences and job roles. To draw a line between both the fields is actually impossible.
But just to give you a better understanding, please note:
B.Tech CS: :Basically in this course, students study computers more from the technical p[oint of view, rather into engineering the computers to be more user friendly. Thus as a computer science graduate, your main role would involve the study of computers, their design, and their uses for computation, data processing, and systems control. As a Computer Engineer you would be involved in the designing and development of hardware and software, operating systems, and interactive games and apps. They make use of mathematical algorithms, the understanding of computer theory, and writing code to generate the latest in computer technology. They are focused with the theory of computational applications. That means they understand the "why" behind computer programs.
B.Tech IT:Here as a Graduate your main role would be to study existing technology by studying the business modules that make use of IT in terms of storing the data, recovering the data and at the same time maintaining the data.So this course covers important aspects right from installation of the software or application to developing a computer network and a database center, mainly for industrial purpose. So here your knowledge of computers and networking is used to produce easier ways to store and recover information.
Please note that, as an engineering Graduate, though you have the knowledge regarding hardware and softwares and its applications, but your core role is to develop or invent processes that would redefine computers
Hope this makes the difference clear.
As far as the institutes mentioned, it would completely depends on the course you choose.
Wish you good luck...........
