Dear Aspirant,
Thanks for writing to us!
The academic record does matter while looking for a job as bank officer. To work in public sector bank, you need to appear for competitive exams for recruitment. Minimum qualification required to appear in such exams is graduation with 45%.
For private sector banks, minimum qualification required is graduation with 55%, technical knowledge and skills. If you have poor academic records, most banks may offer marketing jobs where academic records don't matter.
