Dear Aspirant,
WAIT WAIT WAIT!
Why are you going ahead with your engineering course and why are you thinking of doing psychology after engineering? Why not go ahead and do psychology? If your interests and aptitude lies in psychology why are you wasting it in engineering? After engineering means you will waste four years, money of your family, and take efforts to study what you actually don't like. Instead of this why not enrol into BA Psychology and get graduated in that in three years? After BA Psychology, you need to do MSc Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Family Counselling, etc. which will make you eligible for Psychology as a professional.
Psychology has very good scope for a long career. Psychologists are required in schools, colleges, hospitals, NGOs, Welfare organisations, teaching. You can do a job or have your own consulting & counselling centre.
I strongly feel and suggest that you should cancel your engineering admission or drop it and get admission to BA Psychology course from a good institute. BA Psychology admission does not require entrance test.
Best wishes
Hello Varidhi.. If you are interested in Psychology why you are going for engineering. Psychology is having equal scope as engineering if you are choosing it as your interested field
In order to post replies to the question: "Hi madam, I'm a student of PCM who just finished 12th. I'm seeking entrance in an engineering college. But I do have aptitude and interest in psychology as well. What is the scope of me pursuing psychology after finishing engineering?"
