Dear Aspirant,
Nice to see your aspiration and ambition to join banks for a job and career. But why do you ask specifically about cashier jobs? Anyways... you need to be a graduate first for any kind of good job in a bank whether public sector or private banks. Therefore I would suggest you to concentrate on your graduation studies first and get a first class (first class is mandatory).
To enter into the public sector banks as clerks, officers, probationary officers, one needs to give the IBPS exam. IBPS is a central authority which conducts bank exams for the above category of employees based on the vacancies. Therefore this necessarily means that when vacancies are announced then only you can think of entering into the bank as an aemployee.
If you are thinking of private bank jobs at the clerk level or officer level, then all those are done based on the need and educational qualifications. There are no centralised exams, but individual banks conduct entrance test, interviews, etc.
