There is no specific requirement to become a life coach. You just have a positive approach to see life
Hello Nitika,
Earlier a coach was someone with grey hair, old and vast industry experience. Whereas the trend now has changed. Someone even young these days can work as a coach.
Just knowledge on what is the requirement and focusing on the individual is necessary. Know your target audience.
As such no such qualification is required. But certifications in personality development, public speaking, grooming etc is necessary.

Do you really think that becoming a Life Coach is a career? I feel this as risky.
Definitely, to become a life course, there are no courses available in the formal education system in the world. Being a Life Coach means you will be taking seminars, public meetings to tell people about life, living, culture, problems, solutions, etc. For doing this, you yourself should be extremely aware, knowledgeable and definitely a person who has taken experience of life and the world. Advising people just on the basis of books and motivating them does not make sense, since after sometime people wont value you if you yourself have done nothing.
I would suggest that you should pursue BA Psychology and MA Psychology to understand the human behaviour. Studying Psychology will give you a good base for advising people on various issues.
