Hello suraj, Please note there is no fixed strategy to clear entrance exams like CAT.
But still listing down few pointers that could be beneficial to you
1. Practice. This is the key to crack any exam. The more you practice the more confident you would be.
2. Understand the concept and logic. Just blindly practicing or solving will not help. You must know the concept and the logic used. Or else it will be like rote learning. And a little twist in the problem you would be stuck
3. Derive shortcuts. The most essential part for any entrance exam. Entrance exams are not like your school exams where every step counted. Here the end result is not important. And if you waste time in solving a problem then you would not be able to solve maximum questions
4. Timing. Initially solve the papers where you answer all questions without a time limit. But as the exam time approaches solve the paper by timing yourself.
Please note to score a good percentile in these entrance exams you need to solve maximum questions correctly within a short period of time.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
