I would just like to add, that diploma is not just enough to get a job, though diploma are more well versed than a gradute, but industry still prefer a Graduate.
So if possible, get a Graduation degree. Please note that, since you are a diploma holder, you can get direct entry into the 2nd year graduate course.
Another option is, get a certificate course, through ITI, which is industrially recognised.
In-case of jobs, look out for references as much as possible. If not, then do not opt for any higher level position, check for entry level positions, get experience and then opt for higher positions. At the sametime upload your Resume on various job portals like Naukri, monster etc. Also upload your resume on companies websites. It can be helpful

Hope you are a real diploma engineer in terms of your knowledge and study. Have you given any interviews but failed to clear them?
Completing graduation is highly recommended. Why are you not willing to complete degree in engineering?
I feel if you are required to work and not do your degree, do skill development courses under NSDC.
