As per your query, to become a bank probationary Officer, you can be from any stream but Graduation is the minimum requirement with 55% marks. There are also reservation for backward classes who may have slightly linient eligibility requirements. But commerce background is more apt as you will be dealing with financial transactions. To be a Probationary Officer. You need to clear a competitive exam organized by banks the vacany for which can be known from newspapers. Clearing which there is an Interview round. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) exam for Clerical / PO / Specialist positions across all public sector banks in IndiaProbationary Officers (PO) exams for Grade A Officers in all public sector banks in India
Vacancies are announced periodically by IBPS and then exams are conducted.
There are coaching institutes which train you and make you practice for the above two exams, since they are highly competitive and all India selection takes place.
Any graduate is eligible to appear for Bank exams except Fine Arts. Marks for SBI PO is min. 60% and for other banks may be 50% to 55%.

For Clerks positions also, minimum eligibility is GRADUATE.
Banks are in serious business and so eligibility is not cheap.
