Hello there,
Looks like you are a well planned person, a important trait to be a judge in the future.
Also aiming high is good but one needs to be well grounded too.
Coming back to your question. As you have rightly estimated the time for you to complete your LLB, it is good that you can plan so well.
But to be a judge, the most important part you are missing is "Practising".You need to have few years of work experience, a minimum of 5 years, whereby you have individually practiced as a lawyer and have defended your client is necessary.
These days, individual practicing is a little difficult, since a client wishes to have an experience lawyer, defending their case.So according to me, it would be best if after you get your degree, you begin to work under an experienced advocate and gain experience and in the meantime also put across your suggestions. This will help you to reach your goal faster.
Also these days to apply for a district court judge, other than practical experience, one also needs to clear the entrance exams.
Hope this answers your query.
Work hard and be practical.
Wish you all the very best.............
Hi,. It is amazing to see how well planned or how serious you are about your future and I must appreciate this thought. Well further moving forward let me answer your question in just one sentence and that is "NO", you can not become a judge as soon as you pass out your LLB. REASON is explained below.
in order to become a judge and individual has to appear and qualify for the Judicial Exams which are regularly conducted by Public Service Commissions of each state. In order to get qualify to appear or sear for this exam, you will need an LLB degree from a reputed institution or a Nationalize Law Schools which are recognized by the Bar Council of India. The next criteria is, an individual has to have a 5 years experience as a Practicing Advocate before any court in India and also has to be a registered member of any of the State Bar Council or Bar Council of India. The last and most important factor is an AGE...you have to be of a certain age ion order to be appeared for this exam, now each state public service commissions have different age limits which also includes candidates of SC, ST and accordingly relaxation in age has been given to those candidates.
Once you meet all these above criteria you can appear for the District Judge Exam..
The exam will be in three stages, First it will be a Preliminary Examination, Second is Final Examination and the Lastly Personality Test which is more of a personal in interview to evaluate your speaking skills and your intellectual level.
I hope the answer satisfies your question...
Best Luck..
In order to post replies to the question: "If I am studying now in class Xth then, after completing LLB in 2021 so can I Become District Judge in 2022?"
