Depending on what you wish to do further it can be said whether BA in Economics is a good career or not.
Please note that just being a graduate in economics will fetch you an entry level positions.
But a masters degree would fetch you a job that you deserve in the market related to your interest.
As an economist, you could work as a financial advisory, investment banker, statistician in banks, financial institutes, government organizations etc.
