There are courses from Cranes software in embedded systems. I am myself from electronics hence know about those courses and also that they have good prospects for higher studies and jobs.

Instrumentation: I do not have much information about the job prospects, though there are plenty of training courses, which can be found online like www.idc-online.com/training_courses/?country=India&group=Instrumentation.

Hi Shahank,

As you have completed your degree and has not got placed from college and have below 60% marks. you can transform your career by joining some computer courses and ensure that you get out with a certification and some placement assistance from the institute like what NIIT, APTECH and others provide these days.
Such a course would gain you back the respect of your engineering degree and a respectable job and the disadvantage of having low marks in engineering would not bother you.
If possible, you can also look for a full-time course like CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, which can utilize your Electronics knowledge in the electronic networks from Cisco. Other such courses are also there but ya, these are very costly so please choose wisely so that you can give your best this time and emerge successful.
