Hello Dear Aspirant,

A warm welcome to career guide.com

Thanks for visiting us and writing us your career query.

You can make a career in Law either after 12th or after completing your graduation degree.  A student completing his/her 12th or graduation degree from any of the field can make a career in Law.  After 12th the law course is of 5years and after4 graduation the Law course is of 3years.  Law as a career has a pretty good career opportunities.  After completing   the Law degree you can practice the Law in the Courts.  You can think of becoming a General Solicitor or else you can think of becoming a legal advisor with the Nationalized or co-operative or private Banks.  Where as you can also become a corporate Lawyer with the corporate sector, organizations or companies.  Where as you can also work with various NGO’s or other organizations you can also make a career in the Civil Service exams like Union Public Service Commission, State Government exam and other government departments. Law is very much practiced in various fields these days like Finance, Banking, IT, medical etc. To take an admission for the law course you will need to give a Law entrance exam.  Law entrance exam is mandatory to take an admission for the Law programmed.  In India no college or institute offers a Law degree in part time.  Law program is a regular full time degree course and hence you cannot get a law degree in part time.  You will be needed to attend the law college on the regular basis.  While you are doing a law degree you can also think of going for the company secretary course.  If you are planning to make a career in corporate Law then CS is the best option for you and makes a good combination too.

I hope you find this information useful and helpful for you.

Wish you Good Luck

Feel free to get in touch again.

Warm Regards,
