500+ Career Options
1M+ Test Taken
Dear Aspirant,
Firstly, your question about comparing MBA and Pilot is itself invalid. How can you compare two different things?
Commercial Pilot and MBA both have career scope. Please don't ask the career option to choose you, you have to choose the career option. Every career is good, are you good for that or what career is good for you is important. Please avoid comparing illogically.
Comparing courses and choosing on that basis is sure shot way to disappointment and frustration since the way you choose the course is not right and not according to your aptitude, interests, etc.
Best way to decide your career is to attempt the Ideal Career Test from CareerGuide. This is a psychometric test which is scientifically designed and it will judge your aptitude, inter personal abilities and interests. The report gets generated instantly. You can then talk to me over phone.
Best wishes
Dear Harsh,
Thanks for writing to www.careerguide.com!
You have not provided adequate details of your educational background. Well,it seems you are confused a career option between management and commercial pilot.
I assume that you know eligibility for doing MBA and commercial pilot. Both are very different discipline and hence have eligibility criteria. I would recommend you to first go through the eligibility criteria and self-assess. If you are eligible for both, then you need to assess your aptitude, interest and personality.
Commercial pilot requires very high cognitive capabilities, decision-making, good health, very good eyesight, willingness to travel and stay away from family for a considerable period. If you have adequate aptitude, interest and personality, commercial pilot can be a very good career choice.
MBA is one of the sought after course. You can prepare for CAT/MAT/XAT and do MBA in your area of domain from premier institutions. You need to assess yourself again and choose your primary area like marketing, business analysis, HR, finance etc. MBA from premier institution can be a good career option.
Before you decide upon career, I would recommend you to take up Ideal career test from www.careerguide.com. You can talk with career expert for guidance.
Hope this is helpful.
Best Wishes of your bright career,
Apurva
