Hey Dear,


National Institute for Fashion Technology i.e. NIFT and National Institute for Designing NID are two most premier institutes to study designing from and I would certainly like to add that one is extremely luck to get through the tough competition for these colleges.

But there are very few other good colleges in designing. But still some of the good colleges in designing are:
a) Pearl Academy of Fashion Delhi
b) Amity School of Fashion Technology Noida
c) Rani Birla Girls College Kolkata
d) J D Birla Institute Kolkota
These are also some of the colleges where you can apply also. But to be frank you should try for the Top colleges and do not loose hope of getting there because of the tough competition instead prepare even harder to get through and make out in these colleges.
Life would be simple and very easy as you will get a good environment to groom your self and even some of the top faculties will be there to help you and train you. Moreover the placements are also good and the start of the career will also be simple. You will not to be bothered about simple things and you will just need to put your best foot forward then in that college.

But dear remember that even the other college are not that bad and if you get through them then you can go through all the details and apply there. As they are also top colleges to study designing from in India and they have been rated really good.

I hope you know that you will have to sit for the entrance exam and qualify it and then you will have to go thought the rounds of Group Discussion and Interview after which the merit is prepared and admissions are taken in.

Alternatively, sevral export houses, garment store chains, textile mills, leather companies, boutiques, fashion show organizers, jewellery houses and media houses recruit professionals interested in a career in fashion designing.
