I am glad to see that you have been planning to make a career in the Banking Sector. Banking Sector of India is one of the fastest growing sector after the IT and Computers. Banking sector of India is one of the strongest Banking System in the world. Banking as a career has always been one of the safest career option since long. Banking sector has been expanding their business to the rural areas and so for the same they need a lot of Human Resource for the smooth functioning of the work.
Due to the expansion of the Banking Sector and also a lot of introduction of new advanced banking system along with the technology there has been a huge requirement for the skilled Human resource in the Banking Sector. Many commerce students they give a preference to make a career in the Banking Sector. Whereas a student of any stream can also make a career in the Banking Sector.
To make a career in the Banking Sector one can make a career in the Banking Sector as Clerk or PO Officer. The eligibility criteria for both the exams is same i.e a person needs to have completed Graduation degree from any stream (except Fine Arts ). If one wish to apply for the SBI Bank then person needs to apply for the SBI Clerk / SBI PO Officer exam. And if one wish to apply for the other Government Banks than in that case person needs to apply for the IBPS Clerk or PO officer Exam.
You can apply for these exam either online or offline. If you are applying online you need to pay the fees in the mentioned bank and take a challan no. and after 2 days you need to fill up the form.
