Hi Raghav,
I am totally confused what to advise you at this stage of your career.
Looking back, you would waste a lot of years if you now wish to pursue your passion. But better you realise than continuing to work in a field you are least interested in.
I would still suggest that give in a second thought. Since the passion, you have can be taken as a hobby or a part time or weekend profession. Whereby both your professional and passion life is fulfilled.
There is a course in Fine ARTS, which you can pursue along with your job. Or as a fulltime. But I would still suggest, get some experience as a CS and be flexible and open minded when you working.
Because as a model artist, unless you have your agency and or big contacts and can hold exhibitions, earning is limited. Rtahre earning is not there to face the reality. It is a big time struggle.
Once you are professionally settled, then with the money you earn, you can invest in exhibitions, whereby your passion is served and you can bear the loss too.
Think over it.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
Dear Aspirant,
I feel the time has gone now to reverse your career vehicle. I really do not understand if CS was not your passion how did you manage to pass the exam? It appears that you passed the exam by being typical exam oriented and which is not good for getting into employment since your heart is not connected to the profession.
Leaving the CS profession and looking for something else at this stage is risky. Artistic work though is your liking, also has to be an earning potential and a long term and long life career option. Are you sure it is?
I feel, you can go into an artistic field where is definitely an opportunity, however you will have to take a big risk.
I do not personally suggest you to take that risk. Keep it as a hobby and if one day you feel, that your hobby can be turned into career, then only switch.
Best wishes
Every course offers different types of opportunities, if you have completed your Company Secretary then why don’t you go for law courses and otherwise as per you passion, there are many institutes which provide expertise in the fields related to art and crafts work, likeInternational Craft Exchange Programme @ IICD Jaipur , basket work classes in Delhi and other cities in India and Abroad.
But, leaving the CS profession and looking for something else at this stage is risky. Artistic work though is your liking, also has to be an earning potential and a long term and long life career option. You can follow your passion as a hobby and choose to have a career as a Company secretary as there are nice options in this field too.
In order to post replies to the question: "Sir, this is Raghav from Bangalore, I have completed Company Secretaries course but now i am realising it won't suits my passion. I like doing artistic craft works like model making and all. Is there any career opportunity in this? please help.."
