National Academy of Legal Studies& Research (NALSAR) Law University by its CASL (Centre for Air& Space Law), Hyderabad proposes to invite applications for admissions into various courses which are mentioned below in full details. As a part of the answer to the later part of your question these various courses designed to be undertaken even by professionals who are working to obtain additional qualifications which are necessary for present day situation. Moreover, these courses are conducted in a unique way using modern day technology accessible from anywhere categorized as the On-Site& On-Line mode. 

  1. Master’s Degree is of 2 years: MALATM (Master in Aviation Law& Air Transport Management)
  2. Master’s Degree is of 2 years: MSTL (Master in Space& Telecommunication Laws)
  3. Graduate Diploma is of 1 year: PGDALATM (Post Graduation Diploma in Aviation Law& Air Transport Management)
  4. Post-Graduate Diploma is of 1 year: GIS & Remote Sensing Laws

 

Eligibility:  Either a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree in any of the disciplines from any of the Universities which are recognized, which should be with 50% marks or 2ndly a 3-year Diploma in Air Craft Maintenance Engineering accompanied by the relevant experience of 3 years. Students appearing for the final year examination of Graduation or Engineering are also eligible to apply.

Admission Procedure: All the candidates who are interested in this programm would be need to send an Application Form by filling it along with SOP (Statement of Purpose), along with one attested copy of the Diploma or Degree Certificate& a DD for One Thousand Rupees (1,000 Rs.) by drawing it in favour of ‘Registrar NALSAR-CASL A/C’ which would be payable at Hyderabad on or before a date set by the University, which is usually before commencement of classes.

Selection Process: The selection would be based on the performance at the Group Discussion& the Interview. 

Proposed Centres: There are some proposed centers also which are in cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai& Guwahati, these centers will be functional depending on the number of candidates opting for it.

Conduct of the Programme: Master’s Degree& PG Diplomas are of 'Blended version (a mix of onsite& online) sessions spread in 4 & 2 Sem respectively. Each Sem will have an Onsite intense session by the subject experts, followed by Online Session where participants will work on the case studies/project assignments& upload them on the dedicated web portal. Under the mode of intense e-learning process, each student would have access to subject experts if he has any queries pertaining to various queries on the subject. We would also upload the updated relevant material from time to time. At the end of the final Sem, students are required to submit a Dissertation. Attendance at the on-site Sessions is compulsory. Here to be eligible to appear for the examination, the candidates would be required to have a minimum of 75% attendance at onsite sessions.

Course Fees Details: The course fee would be Rs. 1,50,000 for a candidate (Rs.1,20,000 in the case of Defence Personnel) would be paid in 2 instalments & the 1st instalment would have to be paid at the time of admission& the 2nd instalment would have to be paid before the start of 3rd sem.

 

Curriculum for Masters Degree in Aviation Law& Air Transport Management:

In 1st Sem there is Principles of Management, Airport Management, General Principles of Law& International Air Law each carrying 100 marks& in 2nd Sem there are subjects like Airline Management, Air Space & Air Traffic Management, Domestic Air Laws in India,& Aviation Safety, Security& Liability Laws even these subjects carry 100 marks each. The 3rd Sem is designed to include subjects such as Air Transport Economics& Statistics, Aviation Marketing, Aviation Contracts & Tenders,& Aviation Corporate Laws,& yet again they all carry 100 marks each. The Fourth Sem is little different which includes Field Work Report consisting 100 marks,& Dissertation having 200 marks includes written marks& other marks for viva.

Course Fees Details: For this course it is Rs. 1,50,000 for a candidate to be paid in 2 instalments. The 1st instalment would be required to be paid at the time of admission& the 2nd instalment would have to be paid before the start of the 3rd sem.

Curriculum for Masters Degree in Space& Telecommunication Laws 

In this course 1st SEM includes subjects such as General Principles of Law, Space Technology& Law, International Space Law,& Information Technology& Law all of which carry 100 marks each& 2nd Sem has subjects like International Telecommunications Law, Space Technology, Telecommunications& IPRs Issues, Commercialization of Space& Telecommunications, Cyberspace, Cyber Law& Security Issues which also carry 100 marks. The 3rd Sem has some of the interesting subjects like Telecom Regulations in India, Law of Remote Sensing& Geospatial Data, Trade Laws& Space& Telecommunications, Space Law& Contemporary Issue& finally the Fourth Sem again has same structure as the earlier course& includes Field Work Report of 100 marks& a Dissertation of 200 marks consisting of written& viva in it.

Course Fees Details:  For this course it is Rs. 50,000 for a candidate& Rs. 30,000 for a Defence Personnel which would be paid at the time of admission.

 

Curriculum for Postgraduate Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing Laws

This Diploma in its 1st Sem has subjects like General Principles of Law, Remote Sensing Technology& Laws& GIS Technology& Law& once the laws are learnt 2nd Sem brings subjects like Coastal Mapping& Coastal zone Management, Satellite Technology, GIS, RS& IPR Issues& a Dissertation on similar lines as other diplomas which have 200 marks for its written& viva programmes& 100 each for all other papers.

Course Fees Details: For this course would be Rs. 50,000 for a candidate, which would be paid at the time of admission.
