To start with I would like to introduce myself to you, I am a MBA from IIM shillong in finance and working as a financial analyst in a private company for more than three years. Before that I was working as operational office in a govt company after doing B tech.




Coming to your question about resume of a public relation officer, I would like to tell some important point to be kept in mind t write a good resume.



Resume is very important for any job, as it is the first thing which will start the recruitment process or say selection process for right candidate to be placed and it is the first step for screening candidates as well.

Some of them are as mentioned below:





First of all resume should be prim and proper, do not give too many information as no body likes to read long paragraphs in a resume. Provide exact data in a to the point answer manner




Second is give the educational background in first page, do mention the specialization courses done related to job you are going to apply if any.



Do not mention to forget if any rewards or recognition you got in the same field, it will create a strong impact.


Next do mention the years and details of experience you have in public relation field, if there.



Then explain in brief the roles and responsibilities carried out by you as a public relation executive in your previous company.Mention all the achievements and acknowledgements you got while working in your previous company as a public relation executive.




At last do not forget to mention the skills and talent you owe related and relevant to public relation field.



Always be careful about the language you are using while writing, past or present tense, proper grammar and punctuation marks.



The format of resume needs to be standard and easy to understand.



You should be able to justify what ever information you are giving in your resume. Do not provide fake data or information, other wise it will become a problem for you in later stage while facing personal interview.



The incorrect information may lead you to loose the job and will also create a bad image of you, sometimes it may become extremely severe problem.
