GATE score is valid for pursuing higher studies such as M.E./M.Tech. on scholarship ..Some PSUs consider GATE score as cut-off basis for shortlisting candidates for next level of recruitment process.
However, entry to government job require qualifying through specified competitive examination conducted by Public Service Commission, UPSC, SSC,Railway Recruitment Board, MES,CPWD etc.
