Hi,

Ayurveda is a medical practice developed thousand of years ago in India. This is an ancient form of medicine that originates from northern India.

Ayu means life and veda is knowledge in sanskrit.Ayurveda means knowledge of life .Those who practice traditional Ayurveda use holistic techniques to balance the patients body, mind and spirit.

Ayurvedic practitioners believe that by balancing these forces, optimum health may be achieved. In many cases, treatment techniques include the use of plants and herbal extracts.Practitioners also recommend special routines or regimens called dincharya and ritucharya. These routines may be similar to diet and exercise programes, oftenprescribed by personal trainers or dieticians.

Working hours of an Ayurvedic Physician may vary according to the nature of the job.If they are employed in an hospital there working hours will be fixed .If they start their own independent practice their working hours they only decide.Right from the morning they plan their day.If they have a hospital they are engaged full time according to the need of the hospital.

If they are visiting hospitals then their working hours are fixed ,according to the convenience of the hospital.
They may teach in an Ayurveda college. Here again the timings will be fixed. They may have to conduct seminars ,workshops and retreats.

If they are working as a supervisor in a pancha karma center then their working hours will be fixed. But they are engaged for the day as they have to give time to each and every patient personally.

They may work in partnership with a yoga studio or as an acupuncturist or as a naturopathic doctor. In all these positions the timings or the working hours can not be defined. The reason is that they have to attend every patient personally. Some times a patient may require physical help due to age.Different kinds of treatments require different attention.

Ayurvedic physician devotes a lot of time to his patients ,does a lot of research to prepare medicines for different ailments which requires a lot of devotion.
I think i have answered your question to best of my knowledge.

All THE BEST !

The working hours of an Ayurvedic physician can vary depending on a number of factors, including their practice setting, patient load, and personal preferences. However, here are some general guidelines on the working hours of an Ayurvedic physician:

1. Clinic hours: Ayurvedic physicians typically work in a clinical setting, either in their own private practice or as part of a larger healthcare organization. Clinic hours can vary, but they are typically structured around regular business hours. This means that an Ayurvedic physician may work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, or on some weekdays and weekends.

2. Patient load: The number of patients an Ayurvedic physician sees in a day can also impact their working hours. Physicians with a larger patient load may need to work longer hours or see patients on weekends to accommodate their schedules. Refer more information on territorial io

3. Administrative tasks: In addition to seeing patients, Ayurvedic physicians may also need to devote time to administrative tasks such as record-keeping, billing, and marketing their practice. These tasks can be done outside of regular clinic hours, which may extend the physician's workday.

4. Research and education: Ayurvedic physicians may also spend time conducting research, attending continuing education courses, or teaching others about Ayurveda. These activities may take place outside of regular clinic hours as well.

Overall, the working hours of an Ayurvedic physician can be flexible and may vary depending on the needs of their practice and patients. It's important for physicians to find a balance between seeing patients, completing administrative tasks, and taking care of their own well-being.
