Its good to heat from you that you have planned to make your career in the Banking Sector at this point of time. Banking career is one of the safe and a good career option for the students who wish to make a carer in the field of Banking and finance.
There have been a great career opportunities in both the Private as well as Public Banking Sector.
To make a career in the Banking Sector earlier the student of the 12th of any stream who have scored 60% was eligible to apply for the Bank Clerk exams.
The person who aspires to make a career in the Banking Sector especially in the Public Banking Sector they need to go through the exam. There are two types of Exams are conducted in the Government Banking Sector i.e Bank Clerk and Bank PO.
As per the new norms the Eligibility criteria is revived which is as follows-
The educational eligibility for Bank PO Exam (both) is the same as follows-
1.A candidate should have completed a Graduation Degree from any of the stream( except Fine Arts ) from a recognised university.
2.Nationality- Indian
3.Age- 20 to 30 years; 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years is for disabled person.
Eligibility criteria for Bank Clerk-
1. A candidate should have a Graduation Degree from any stream from a recognised university.
2. Age- 20 to 28 years and the relaxation is same as above mentioned
3. Should be Indian .
As you wish to make career in the Banking you need to complete your graduation degree than you can apply for the Bank Exams.
