A news reader needs to be presentable in front of the camera all the time. One should not have a stage fright or camera fright. A nwes reader works is not only restricted to reading a news but he should be able to catch the viewers too.
One must have a strong command over communication and public speaking skills. One should be also good at Verbal and Written skills. They must be aware about the world and should also a good aptitude for General Knowledge.
The most important thing is they should have passion for journalism and must be daring to travel to different locations.
Newsreader usually works for the news channels but they can also work for the radio or internet. there job may also include on-air interviewing,conducting panel discussions,debates and other talk shows. Being knowledgeable and well -read is key to being successful in this career.
To become a Newsreader one must hold a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. there are many institutes in India and abroad that offers a degree programs.
Salary Prospects-This profession pays very well for the right candidates.Being beginner one gets the salary of 100,000 to 2,400,000 per annum. while a candidste who has mastered in telecommunication can get salary from 500,000 to 3,000,000 per annum.
